Kirim Miza is run by one person in Brunei. This page says what the site records, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
When you order
We keep your name, phone number, email address, what you asked us to buy, and — if you paid by transfer — the screenshot you sent as proof. We need all of it to shop for you, to tell you what happened, and to keep a record of a payment. Payment screenshots are stored privately and are never published or linked publicly.
We never see or store card numbers. Payment is by bank transfer or cash, so there is nothing of that kind for us to hold.
When you browse
The site records the pages you look at, the products you open, what you search for, and what you add to your list. It also records your device type, browser, operating system, screen size, the site that sent you here, and your network (IP) address — from which we work out an approximate city.
We do this to understand which products people actually want and whether the site works on the phones people use. It is our own record, kept in our own database. We do not use Google Analytics, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share any of it.
The cookie
One cookie, called km_vid. It holds a random number and nothing else — no name, no email, nothing derived from your device. It lets us tell one visit from two, so that “forty people looked at this” is not really the same person forty times. It is set by our server, cannot be read by any script on the page, and expires after two years. Clearing it makes you a new visitor to us, and we do not try to recognise you again by any other means.
Your address, specifically
Your IP address is sent once to a lookup service (ipwho.is) to turn it into a city. Once we have the answer we remember it, so the same address is never sent again. Nothing else — not the pages you viewed, not your order — is ever sent anywhere outside this site.
How long we keep it
- Browsing records, including your address and city: 90 days. After that they are deleted automatically. What survives is a daily count — how many visits, from which countries, on which devices — with nothing in it that points to a person.
- Orders and payment evidence: kept. An order is a financial record of money you sent us, and we keep it so that both sides can refer to it later.
What you can ask for
Message us and we will do any of these, at no cost and without asking why:
- tell you what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your browsing records, immediately rather than after 90 days
- delete your customer details — though where an order exists we may need to keep the order record itself, and we will say so plainly

Our crawler
Product prices and photographs come from the shops’ own websites, read by our crawler. It identifies itself honestly, obeys each site’s robots.txt, and spaces its requests so as not to be a burden.
